Undergraduate Researcher — UC Irvine

RAiDAR: Camera-Radar Fusion (UROP)

Trained PointNet & PointPillars 3D-detection encoders (PyTorch, 100 epochs) on V2X-Radar-I & RadarScenes — 88.50% test-instance accuracy across 5 classes.
Built end-to-end pipelines converting raw radar point clouds into preprocessed tensors with radar-specific features (RCS, Doppler velocity).
Surveyed 4–5 encoder architectures to design a novel radar encoder for a gated camera-radar fusion module.

Process Digitization & Analysis

Built an ETL pipeline replacing a manual paper process — digitizing 3,000+ handwritten records into the company's first standardized, queryable dataset.

Coordinated the project across teams — tracking milestones, action items, and flagging delivery risks.
